Man killed in accident

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 27: A man was killed when a speeding pick-up hit him near the Hazara village on Dera-Multan road on Tuesday.

Talib Hussain was going on his bicycle when the pick-up knocked him down. He died on the spot.

CHARAS SEIZED: Police recovered 1kg charas from an Afghan, Daryab Khan, and arrested him.

He was travelling in a bus, going to Punjab from Peshawar,  when he was searched by the Saddar police, conducting routine checking on the road.

The Chowdhwan police also recovered a small quantity of charas and arrested an accused, Rehmat Shah.
