KARACHI, Jan 14: The Anti-Violent Crime Cell claimed to have arrested four men allegedly involved in bank heists and kidnappings.

A handout issued on Saturday said that the AVCC arrested Saleem Jokhyo, Ghulam Nabi Bhatti, Raheel Brohi and Saeed Akhter, who during interrogation disclosed their involvement in bank robberies and kidnappings.

It said that they looted Rs8.5 million from the Pano Aqil branch of the National Bank; Rs1.5 million from ABL Naushehro Feroze branch and Rs2 million from a UBL branch in Karachi.—APP
