ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Tuesday that the government will take administrative and operational measures to maintain peace in Balochistan.

“The government will take all possible measures, administrative and operational, to maintain peace in Balochistan,” he told newsmen outside the Parliament House.

“But, we cannot hold dialogue with elements who are killing innocent people and forwarding the agenda of others to de-stabilize the country,” he added.

Malik said Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has constituted the committee comprising of the Chief Minister Balochistan, Home Minister and senior political leaders for recommendations to restore peace in the province.
