KARACHI, Nov 25: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board has taken various measures for smooth supply of water to various parts of Lyari.

In a statement, issued here on Monday, a spokesman for the KWSB said under the instructions of the Sindh chief secretary the valve operation of 12-inch dia pipeline was done under special supervision so that water could reach all areas smoothly.

The spokesman also said

that the water board had disconnected all connections to hotels and restaurants on Sheedi Road to enable water supply to domestic connections in five blocks of Baghdadi and Saifi Lane.—APP
