KARACHI, Nov 23: The KESC has already made arrangements to provide new power connections in sector 7-C, North Karachi, according to which 53 applicants were provided electricity about three months ago, a KESC spokesman said on Saturday.

He said that the kutcha abadi of sector 7-C had 370 electricity consumers were using kunda connections. The KESC prepared a scheme to provide them with metered connections. About 130 persons applied for regular connections out of whom 97 applicants were issued an estimate of availing new power connections and those who made payment were immediately supplied electricity.—APP
