LAHORE, Dec 19: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Monday declared the results of matriculation supplementary examination for 2011 showing a pass percentage of 45.1. According to the result notification, as many as 29,864 candidates appeared for the examination out of whom 13,464 were declared successful.

As many as 31 students have secured A+ grade, 53 A grade, 467 B, 4,346 C, 8,152 students D and 386 got F grade.

Being the first to declare the results, the Lahore board has offered 13,464 students an opportunity to seek admission to public or private colleges to intermediate classes during the current academic session.

It may be mentioned that the Punjab higher education department had instructed all eight education boards to declare results on the same day.

Sources claim the higher education department now has plans to allow boards to declare results as per their own convenience.

GCU RESULTS: The Government College University on Monday declared the final-year results of BSc (Honours) microbiology and psychology and BA (Honours) political science.
