MUZAFFARABAD: Girl hurt in blast

MUZAFFARABAD, Nov 17: A minor girl got her hands blown off when she picked up a bomb near the LoC in Azad Kashmir on Friday, police here said.

The 10-year-old Rukhsana, daughter of Sakhiullah Khan, was in the field with her cattle in Mandhar village in Kahuta sector, when she spotted a “mine-like” device hidden in the bushes. She picked it up, causing it to explode.Her hands got blown off and she had to be admitted to the local military hospital, reports our staff correspondent.
