Usman strikes match-winner

LAHORE, Nov 22: A last minute match-winner struck by Usman helped Pency Club beat Walton Club 3-2 in a closely contested match of the 12th Ramazan Publican football tournament at the DPS ground, Friday.

Having gained a commendable lead of 2-0 at half time, Pency lost the advantage as Walton restored parity into the 47th minute. Usman scored the decisive goal when he lifted the ball over the goalkeeper after defeating all defenders.

For the winners, the first two goals were scored by Arshad in the 6th and 25th minute. Shahbaz (38th) and Feroz (47th) shared the scoring honours for the losing side.

DFA, Sheikhupura play Iqbal Shaheed Saturday.
