ISLAMABAD, Nov 22: The elder brother of prime minister- elect, Abdul Ghaffar Jamali, was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Pims on Friday after he suffered a severe ‘Angina’ pain.

A hospital source told Dawn that the condition of Mr Jamali, 65, was said to be stable after he was examined and treated by a panel of doctors.

“He came to the hospital with unstable ‘Angina’ on Friday afternoon,” the source disclosed, adding that the doctors have advised him complete bed rest for some time.

He will remain under observation for quite some time and is still being kept in the CCU for constant observation of his condition.

Mir Zafarullah Jamali also visited the hospital at around 9:30pm amidst tight security to inquire about the health of his brother.
