KASUR, Nov 22: A proclaimed offender managed his escape while his father and a constable sustained injuries in an encounter in Lakho Barpar village on Friday.
On a tip off, Sadar police raided the house of Shabbir, wanted in different criminal cases. The accused reportedly opened fire which was retaliated by police. Constable Yaqoob and Arif, father of the PO, sustained bullets injuries. They were admitted to hospital.
The accused, however, managed to escape. — Correspondent
