PESHAWAR, Nov 21: The NWFP Assembly has been convened next week to administer oath to the newly-elected members and elect the speaker and the deputy speaker of the house, said a notification issued by the provincial assembly secretariat on Thursday.

The notification, quoting a Presidential Order, said the NWFP Assembly had been convened on Monday, Nov 25, at 10am in the assembly building to administer oath to the newly-elected members of the provincial assembly and elect speaker and deputy speaker of the house, whereafter, said the order, the assembly would be prorogued.

No date has been given for the election of the leader of the house.
