KARACHI, Nov 19: A fine 67 by Amjad Ali, steered Khatri Sports to a narrow two-wicket victory over Asian CC in the Ford & Lord Trophy Ramazan tournament played Tuesday.

Batting first after winning the toss, Asian CC were restricted to 130 for six in their 20 allotted overs. Ashfaq Ahmed top scored with 59 runs and Imran chipped in with 30. Salman Yasin bagged two for 34 for the fielding side.

Khatri Sports thanks to Amjad’s fluent 67 reached the target with nine deliveries to spare. For the losers, Ashfaq also had a fine spell with the ball, claiming two wickets for 24 runs.
