ISLAMABAD, Nov 19: A cashier of a filing station was deprived of Rs750,000 when three unidentified robbers hijacked his car near Tarnol on Monday, police sources told Dawn.

According to the sources, the cashier, Nazak Shah, lodged an FIR with the police in which he stated that he along with two other persons were coming to Rawalpindi in a car (LOT-48) when three men appeared on the road and forced them to stop the car.

The robbers sat in the car and directed the driver to move towards Rawalpindi, they added.

The sources said that at a deserted place, the culprits left the car and freed the cashier and his two fellows, however, they took away the cash box lying in the boot of the car.
