Two killed in accidents

SWAT, Nov 18: Two people were killed and two others received injuries in road accidents in Swat district on Monday.

A tractor driver lost control over his vehicle while negotiating a bend and it fell into a deep ditch. As a result Zarin Khan son of Anwar and Madray son of Ali, residents of Alloy Band Matta were killed on the spot. The driver Salim who received injuries was taken to hospital where he is stated to be out of danger.

In another accident a girl Amna, 9, daughter of Dawa Khan of Charbagh village, was seriously injured when she was hit by a car near Fatima Hospital in Charbagh. She was rushed to the nearby hospital.

The driver managed to flee the scene. The police have impounded the vehicle.—APP
