HYDERABAD, Nov 18: The medical board could not finalize the autopsy report of a girl, Shahnaz Jatoi, who was believed to have been killed on the pretext of Karo-kari.

The board was to release its report on Monday but due to the absence of the medical jurist, Omer Memon, it did not turn up at the hospital.

The doctors have discussed the contents of the report and have formed their opinion.

A member of the board told this correspondent that it appeared that the girl had been murdered. He, however, said that the final report would be issued on Tuesday.

HOAX: A hoax bomb call by a boy created panic in a school in Aminabad on Monday.

A caller informed the administration of the Aga Khan School that a bomb was planted in the school. Police and Bomb Disposal Squad officials were called. A search was conducted but nothing was recovered.

The school administration checked the telephone number of the caller in the Caller Line Identification. The number was traced and the boy was picked up from Aminabad.

The boy, who was released late Monday evening, said that he had made the phone call, but his family said that their telephone number had been misused.
