HYDERABAD, Nov 16: The Water and Sanitation Agency will issue water bills for Nov on Nov 20 and last date for payment of the bills will be Dec 3.

Announcing this here on Saturday, the recovery coordinator, Wasa, said that the decision had been reluctantly taken to ensure payment of salary to the employees of the agency before Eid-ul- Fitr.

He warned the consumers, with the dues of over Rs10,000, to get in touch with Wasa office to avoid legal action.

He said in case they failed to contact the concerned office, raids would be carried out in presence of the recovery magistrate and the outstanding amount would be recovered from the defaulters in one instalment.

He said under the Land Revenue Act, the recovery magistrate had also the authority to seal the properties of the defaulters.

He said if anyone had not received water bill, he should obtain the duplicate copy from Wasa customer centre, B-10, Civic Centre, Thandi Sarak here.
