ISLAMABAD, Nov 16: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration on Saturday arrested 11 profiteers for selling consumer items on higher rates.

However, they were released after they paid a fine. A spokesman for the ICT administration said these traders were selling consumer items on rates higher than those set by the local administration specially for Ramazan. They were also not displaying the official price-list of consumer items issued by the local administration.

Meanwhile, the ICT administration established a Sasta Bazaar in collaboration with Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA) at G-6 Hockey Ground.

The bazaar was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Tariq Mehmood Khan.
