KARACHI, Oct 25: The inaugural match of the 9th Karachi Football League between Drigh Road Union and Irfan Memorial Landhi ended in a draw at the Drigh Road Union ground here on Monday evening.
The home team, Drigh Road Union, scored first in the 22nd minute through Mohammad Ahsan and Irfan Memorial Landhi equalised through a penalty-kick, utilised by Afzal Baloch in the 56th minute.
Earlier, Vice President Sindh Football Association and President DFA Malir inaugurated the league while Secretary DFA East Ubaidullah Khan presided over the opening ceremony.
The league is being organised by the Karachi United Football Foundation.—Sports Reporter
