Teachers sans salary

DADU, Nov 14: A large number of teachers of different high schools of the district staged a protest demonstration outside the office of the district education officer here on Thursday.

They were protesting against the non-payment of salary to 134 teachers for the last five months.

Led by Allah Wario Khoso, Masroor Hussain Abbasi, Imtiaz Hussain Mangi and others, the teachers were carrying banners and raising slogans against education officials.

Talking to the protesters, Khoso said clerks of the education department were not submitting salary bills of the teachers and, he alleged, they were demanding five per cent commission from their salary.

He demanded of the authorities concerned to order the payment of salary to the teachers.

ACCIDENT: One passenger was killed and 20 others were injured in a road accident near Ali Murad Shahani village on Wednesday evening.

Lal Bux Rodhanani, 45, resident of Sawaro village, was killed and Imdad, Khuda Bux, Allah Dino, Ghulam Nabi, Shah Murad, Wali Mohammad, Shuhab, Loung, Abdul Haq, Juman and ten others were injured when a Johi-bound bus overturned.

The injured were admitted to the Johi Taluka Hospital.

BODY: The Sehwan town police on Thursday recovered the body of a 30-year-old unidentified person in Aral Wah.
