CHAKWAL, Oct 15: A soldier of Pakistan Army was murdered while his brother, father and uncle sustained serious injuries over a land dispute, police said on Saturday. Mohammad Nawaz, a resident of Dhok Kikranwali, tehsil Talagang, was on leave. He was going to Danda Shah Bilawal village along with his brother Mohammad Shahzad on a motorbike. The two brothers were ambushed by Zahid Iqbal, Shahid Iqbal and Mohammad Khan but they did not stop motorbike and tried to escape from the attack of the assailants. Zahid Iqbal opened fire and a bullet hit at the back of Mohammad Nawaz who died on the spot.

Meanwhile, his father Mohammad Khan and uncle Fateh Khan also reached there. The attackers beat Shahzad, Mohammad Khan and Mohammad Khan with clubs. The three men sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital. Police registered a case against the accused.— Correspondent
