KARACHI: NED announces merit list

KARACHI, Nov 16: The NED University of Engineering and Technology, on Friday, announced the merit list of candidates selected for admission to first-year engineering (Batch 2001-2) at the university.

According to a notification of the university, the merit list of candidates having passed their qualifying HSC (Pre- Engineering) examination from the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, comprised 557 candidates. The merit list starts at 944 marks and closes at 798 marks.

The university said that it had started admission process as per schedule already provided to the candidates, who appeared in the entrance test on Nov 10. Three merit lists, including one for Bachelor of Computer and Information Technology admissions, were displayed on Friday.

The list of 78 candidates having passed their HSC exams from Karachi Board was released for the BCI&T, which started from 963 marks and was closed at 804 marks.
