LAHORE, Nov 10: A brother has appealed to the government to recover his four sisters who were abducted on Aug 3 last from Jampur, Rajanpur district.

Speaking at a news conference at the Lahore Press Club on Sunday, Ghulam Shabbir said his two sisters went to college to know about the FA results but did not return home. On which, their mother sent her two other daughters to the college to inquire about their whereabouts, but they also did not come back.

Shabbir said his mother told him that a 10-year-old boy had visited their house on Aug 2. When he went to the house of the boy, his father, Muhammad Khan Dhandala, said the girls were with a PCO owner, Tariq. Shabbir informed the police who arrested the accused.

During investigation, Tariq said the girls had gone to the City Hotel, Islamabad. When the police contacted the hotel, they were informed that the girls had gone with some ‘taxiwala’. —Reporter
