Eight Iranians drown

QUETTA, Sept 12: Eight Iranian women and children drowned in the Arabian Sea when a boat carrying 12 people capsized near the coastal town of Pasni on Monday.

Sources said that eight bodies had been retrieved from the sea.

An Iranian family comprising 12 people was coming to Pasni when the incident took place because of strong waves, the sources said, adding that fishermen recovered the bodies.—Staff Correspondent
