Aleena shines for Jesus & Mary

LAHORE, Nov 15: Aleena Durrani scored 30  points  to  help Convent  of Jesus & Mary to beat Christ Church, Youhanabad, by a big margin 38-9 in the Lahore Inter-School basketball tournament at the ASIA school courts Thursday.

Aleena displayed a high order game and  remained  on point scoring course from the start to finish. Mehvish  (6)  and Sanaa (2) were the other key scorers. For the losing side, Sara was the top scorer with four points.

Pamir Knot defeated Lahore Lyceum 20-15 after taking 12-3 lead at the interval. Zonar played key role for the win by scoring 16 points  for the winning side. Sabreen contributed six points for the losers.

Lahore American School toppled Government Girls High School, Dev  Samaj  Road, Lahore, 18-12 with Tamana Qaiser being  the  top scorer with nine points followed by Aisha who added six points.

Nastem with nine points fought hard for the losing side. Nazia added two points.
