KHAIRPUR, Nov 15: A female victim of dog-bite died in a village near Rasoolabad on Thursday due to the non-availability of anti-rabies vaccines in Sobhodero hospital.

Ms Sehbani, aged 40 years, resident of a village near Rasoolabad taluka Sobhodero, died on Thursday.

She had been bitten by a stray dog and was taken to a hospital of taluka Sobhodero but due to non-availability of anti-rabies vaccine, she could not survive.

SUICIDE: A woman identified as Rasheeda, aged 30 years, resident of village Jumo Korkhani taluka Kingri, committed suicide by taking poison here the other day.

BUFFALOES: Some unidentified armed persons barged into the house Latif Dino Arejo and took away two buffaloes at gunpoint in village Arejo taluka Kingri in the jurisdiction of Pir-jo-Goth police station.

Later, the villagers chased the robbers, resulting in an encounter. The robbers escaped from the scene, leaving behind the snatched buffaloes.
