SWABI, Nov 6: Ramazan was partially observed in some localities of the district here on Wednesday but majority of the people opted to fast on Thursday.
Reports from various localities said that although no official announcement was made about the sighting of the Ramazan moon, a few ulema opined that according to their calculations the holy month of Ramazan should start from Wednesday.
In the district headquarters, majority of the hotels remained closed.
