Enmity leads to murder

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 15: Enmity led to the murder of a man in Gandi Umar Khan on Wednesday.

Aurangzeb and his family had an enmity with the Rab Nawaz family and a number of people, on both sides, had been killed in clashes in the past.

On Wednesday, when Sona Khan, father of Aurangzeb, was cutting wood in a nearby forest, Farid, Ramzan And Yasin, sons of Rab Nawaz, attacked him with axes and daggers. Sona Khan died on the spot.

A case has been registered at Daraban police station.

Hashish seized: Yarik police have seized 10 kg of hashish from a drug trafficker on Wednesday night.

Sarwar, son of Fateh Khan Kundi, resident of Mardan Pul (Paharpur area) was travelling in a coach for Dera Ismail Khan.

At Chunda check post, search conducted by the police personnel which revealed the presence of hashish in possession of Sarwar.

ACCIDENT: Qari Muhammad Hussain was crushed to death by an oil tanker (LH-6789) on Dera-Chashma road on Thursday evening.

Paharpur police have registered case under sections 279/320 of PPC and arrested the driver, Abdul Majeed.
