SUKKUR, Aug 11: A woman was strangled in the village of Jaro Mahar in taluka Khanpur Mahar of district Ghotki on Thursday.
Reports say Hazoor Bux Mahar killed his wife Nazeeran Mahar on the pretext of Karo-Kari. However, in-laws of Nazeeran say she committed suicide due to domestic problems while her parents nominate Hazoor Bux Mahar in the crime.
Police shifted the body to Ghotki hospital for a post-mortem and later handed over the body to relatives.
