KARACHI, Nov 3: A team of the Pakistan Navy Staff College, currently on its study tour, visited the office of the chief secretary Sindh here on Saturday.

The team, led by Commodore Arshad, was briefed on the law and order situation in Sindh and various development projects initiated under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) the Khushhal Pakistan programme (KPP), besides several mega projects.

Chief secretary K.B.Rind apprised the 100-member team about the Thar Coal Project, DERA, the Food Support Programme and other measures being undertaken to facilitate the people on grassroots level.

IG police Syed Kamal Shah was also present on the occasion and offered a detailed presentation regarding law and order situation in the province and the measures adopted in that regard, such as installation of surveillance cameras in the interior of Sindh, the Highway Safety Programme.

Home secretary Sindh, Brig Mukhtar briefed the team on the promulgation of the Public Safety Commission (PSC) in Sindh.

Earlier, Commodore Arshad introduced the team members and shed light on the team’s study tour programme.—APP
