It was a fun-filled evening of live music. After countless gigs in Karachi and a concert in Islamabad, the controversial singer behind the Jalan music video and the more recent Naya Pyar, Schaz recently rocked the World Fashion Cafe in Lahore.

The gig was attended by the likes of Hadiqa Kayani, Irfan Kayani, Rabia Butt, Sabeena Pasha, Fiza Ali, Xille Huma, Daniyal Arshad and Jovi, and was totally aucostic. Schaz performed to songs from her first album (Jalan) and songs from her second album that is still in recording. She also did covers from the ’80s as she admits that she is “still in love with the music of that era, like Circle in the Sand, Love Will Keep Us Alive and Here Comes the Rain Again.

The singer says has plans to have more gigs in Lahore, “An artist has to have the peace of mind to perform, and Lahore offers that peace.”
