ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Wednesday increased the price of electricity by 61 paisa per unit across the country except for the consumers of KESC.
The increase will not be applicable for the lifeline consumers, who consume less than 50 units per month.
The increase has been made by the Nepra in terms of fuel adjustment charges for the month of May 2011 and the additional amount will be reflected in the electricity bills for the month of August.
