KARACHI, July 17: The Jamaat-i-Islami on Sunday took out a rally to condemn the alleged kidnapping of its activists, Osama Waheed and his brother Ajmal Waheed.
JI city chief Mohammad Hussain Mehnati, speaking a the rally alleged that the leaders were whisked away by intelligence agencies personnel from the Karachi airport, and appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of the incident and help their safe release.
Hafiz Waheedullah, father of the ‘kidnapped’ men, also spoke at the rally.—Staff Reporter
