Elections of NRAP held

LAHORE, Nov 14: Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Abdul Aziz Mirza, and Khalid Javed were elected as president and general secretary of the National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP) at its general assembly meeting held at the Olympic House Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by representatives of four provinces, Federal Rifle Association (FRA), UGC, and the three armed services.

The house also approved certain amendments in the constitution besides holding the elections.

Office-bearers:

President: Admiral Abdul Aziz Mirza.

Executive vice-president: Parvez Abbasi.

Vice-presidents: Captain Jabir Bin Yousuf (Navy), Lt Col (retd) A.A Raza (Army), Fuad Ishaq (NWFP), Alya Malik (FRA).

Secretary General: Khalid Javed (Punjab)

Treasurer: Javed Lodhi

Associate secretaries: Sardar Naseer Ahmad (Balochistan), Razi Ahmad Khan (Sindh)

Members: Lt Col Raja Kamran (Army), Group Captain Ahmad Saeed Anjum (PAF), Faisal Butt (FRA), Mrs Shaheen Khan (UGC), Dr Inamullah Khan (NWFP), Lt Cdr S.S.I Jafri (Navy)
