SL U-19 squad arrives today

KARACHI, Nov 14: An 18-member Sri Lankan Under-19 cricket squad, led by all-rounder Dhamika Niroshan, is due to arrive here Thursday on a 12-day Pakistan tour.

During their short stay here, they will play five one-day international against their Pakistani counterparts.

Other members of the touring squad are: Jeevan Mendis, Upul Tharanga, Charith Fernando, Sumalka Perera, Shan Wijeratne, Mevan Dunusinghe, Amila Wettansinghe, Dhammika Prasad, Enadulade Wijeeratne, Favis Mahroof, Prasad Ratawake, N.C.Momasaru and Lasith Fernando.

Meanwhile, two Pakistan players have been ruled out of the series.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Aminur Rehman got injured during the nets and has been replaced by Zulqarnain Haider. Ariz Kamal beefs up the squad after Arsalan Mir was sidelined with a fractured hand.—APP
