LAHORE, July 4: There are chances of isolated rain/thunderstorm in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Sargodha divisions during the next 24 hours, while dry weather is expected in most parts of the province.

The Met office said on Monday that weather remained mainly dry in most parts of the country. However, isolated rain/thundershower occurred over Kashmir and adjoining areas as a well-marked seasonal low continued to lie over north Balochistan with its trough extending north-eastward, the presence of a trough of western disturbance over northern areas and reaching of monsoon currents over upper parts of the country up to 3,000 feet.The Met office recorded 62mm rain in Jhang, 42 in Hatian Bala, 35 in Sargodha, 32 (Misrishah), 26 (Airport) in Lahore, 33 in Sibbi, 29 in Okara, 28 in Joharabad, 20 in Garhi Dupatta and 17 each in Noorpur Thal, Faisalabad, Mianwali and Marala during the last 24 hours.

It said the Ravi was in low flood at Balloki while all other major rivers were flowing below low flood level.
