QUETTA, Jun 27: Laws are not being implemented in letter and in spirit to end child and bonded labour in Balochistan, officials said at a training workshop here.

The workshop held at the Balochistan Judicial Academy was attended by judicial officials, labour inspectors and labour officers, said a press release issued on Monday.

The Regional Manager, Society for the Protection of Rights of the Child, Mohammad Hanif Panezai, emphasised the need for implementing relevant laws effectively to root out child and bonded labour from the province. —Staff Correspondent
