KARACHI, Oct 28: A meeting was held in the office of the Home Secretary, Sindh, here on Monday to review the implementation status of the repatriation of Afghan refugees and their census.

The meeting was chaired by Muhammad Javed Ashraf, the federal secretary, Ministry of Kashmir and Northern Areas (KANA) & State and Frontier Region (SAFRON).

It was decided in the meeting that the Ministry of Kana & Safron would provide funds for setting up an Afghan refugee cell in Sindh within a week. The cell would be working under the provincial Home Department in order to facilitate the Centre in the voluntary repatriation of Afghan refugees from Karachi.—PPI
