Disunity among Muslims lamented

LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 14: Pukhtoons are fighting shoulder to shoulder with the Taliban,not because the latter are Pukhtoons but because they are also Muslim.

This was stated by an ex-MNA from Charsadda, Mohtamim of Madrassah-i-Imdadia and member of the Islamic Ideological Council of Pakistan, Maulana Mohammad Hassan Jan, during a Dastaar Bandi of ex-general secretary of JUI (F) and ex-chairman of Social Action Board, Maulana Amir Nawaz Khan, held at Wanda Amir, some five km from here on Tuesday. Maulana Jan was recently awarded a certificate of Aalim by Madrassah-i-Halimia (Darra Pezu) at the age of above 60.

The dignitaries included Maulana Mohammad Mohsin, Maulana Gul Mohammad, district amir, JUI (F), Maulana Abdu-ur-Rahim, district amir. JUI (F) Karak; Maulana Ibn-i-Amin, ex-MNA; Nasir Mohammad Khan Medad Khel,etc.

Maulana Hassan Jan further said that Allah had endowed the Muslim world with natural resources but they were in the hands of non-Muslims owing to rift among Muslim states.

He added that if a bomb exploded in a Christian country the whole Christian world took notice of it and planned a joint action against those responsibly for it.
