KARACHI, June 22: Armed men killed a middle-aged man and wounded his son and two others in Korangi on Wednesday, police said.

The area police said that the incident was the result of an old dispute between the 'land-mafia' in the area.

“Zarar Khan along with his son Ibrahim Khan and two aides, Zahid Khan and Gul Zada, was supervising construction work on an open plot when six men on two motorbikes emerged and opened indiscriminate fire,” said Korangi Industrial Area SHO Inspector Abid Tanoli. “Zarar Khan sustained three bullet wounds and died. The other three people were also wounded and were taken to the JPMC.” He said the victim was a resident of Quaidabad and was involved in the real estate business in Bakhtawar Goth.
