KARACHI, June 21: A young man was found dead in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Tuesday. Police said the body with multiple torture marks was found on an open plot in Block 6, where some ragpickers spotted it and informed the nearby police post.
“The victim appeared in his mid-20s,” said an official at the Gulistan-i-Jauhar police station. “He was badly tortured and severely hit in the head with some sharp metal. The body has been shifted to the Edhi morgue after medico-legal formalities at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for want of identification.”
