PARIS: With the European summer transfer window now in full swing, Here is a look at some of the prized players attracting the attention of the continent's glamour clubs.

SERGIO AGUERO (Atletico Madrid/ESP)

Nationality: Argentine

Age: 23

Position: Striker

- A stocky, technically assured striker with a fine scoring record, Aguero sparked a bidding war when he announced his wish to leave Atletico at the end of May and can count Chelsea and Real Madrid among his admirers.

ALEXIS SANCHEZ (Udinese/ITA)

Nationality: Chilean

Age: 22

Position: Attacking midfielder

- Moved from the wing into a central attacking role by Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin, livewire forward Sanchez played a pivotal role in his club's shock Champions League qualification. Reported to be at the centre of a tug of war between Barcelona and Manchester City.

FABIO COENTRAO (Benfica/POR)

Nationality: Portuguese

Age: 23

Position: Left-back

- A converted left-winger, Portugal international Coentrao was one of the most impressive full-backs on show at last year's World Cup and is thought to be close to joining Real Madrid.

GERVINHO (Lille/FRA)

Nationality: Ivorian

Age: 24

Position: Forward

- Having expressed a desire to play in England after contributing 15 goals and 10 assists to Lille's Ligue 1 title success, Gervinho is believed to be in the sights of Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

LUKA MODRIC (Tottenham Hotspur/ENG)

Nationality: Croatian

Age: 25

Position: Central midfielder

- A stylish midfield schemer with a touch of steel, Modric missed out on a Champions League place with Spurs this season but could still grace the 2011-12 competition with either Chelsea or Manchester United.

NEYMAR (Santos/BRA)

Nationality: Brazilian

Age: 19

Position: Forward

- A dazzlingly skillful attacker, Neymar is the hottest property in Brazilian football and has given reported suitors Chelsea and Real Madrid encouragement by declaring on Twitter: “Sometimes, you know it's time to move on.”

EDEN HAZARD (Lille/FRA)

Nationality: Belgian

Age: 20

Position: Attacking midfielder

- The Ligue 1 player of the year, Hazard's name is reportedly being discussed in the corridors of power at Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, but Lille insist the creative wide player is “untransferable”.

JAVIER PASTORE (Palermo/ITA)

Nationality: Argentine

Age: 21

Position: Attacking midfielder

- Classy playmaker Pastore top-scored for Palermo with 11 goals in Serie A last season and with Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid on his trail, club president Maurizio Zamparini has set his asking price at 50 million euros ($72.4m).

GIUSEPPE ROSSI (Villarreal/ESP)

Nationality: Italian

Age: 24

Position: Striker

- New Jersey-born Italy international Rossi scored 32 goals in all competitions for Villarreal last season and is believed to be the number one transfer priority for Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.

WESLEY SNEIJDER (Inter Milan/ITA)

Nationality: Dutch

Age: 27

Position: Attacking midfielder

- The architect of Inter's 2009-10 treble triumph, Sneijder is reportedly coveted by Chelsea and Manchester United but recently told a Dutch magazine that he saw no reason to leave San Siro and was “very happy” in Milan.
