LAHORE, Nov 14: Punjab PML(QA) President Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said on Wednesday that he had no differences with party president and had made all nominations against various offices in consultation with Mian Azhar.

Talking to reporters and addressing a meeting of the party’s women organization, he said any impression to the contrary was baseless.

Party’s senior vice-president Ejazul Haq had told reporters only a day before that he had given a formula for the settlement of differences between Mian Azhar and the Chaudhris of Gujrat.

Chaudhry Pervez said he wanted to consult all party leaders and hoped that he would be given a sincere advice.

He praised the government for enhancing women’s representation on local councils. He proposed that women’s seats in parliament should also be increased.

The PML leader was of the opinion that the PPP was left with no option but to cooperate with the military government. This, he said, was the only way for the party to come to power through backdoor.

But, he believed, the PPP would not succeed in its designs as the people had already rejected it.
