KARACHI, Oct 24: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, here on Thursday declared result of HSC-I (class-XI) Science (general) group annual examination 2002 held in May.

In all 2,815 students (1879 male and 936 female) were enrolled but 2,712 (1,808 male and 904 female) appeared in the examination.

According to the result, 666 students (293 male and 373 female) got through all the six papers (pass percentage 24.56); 663 students (415 male and 248 female) cleared five papers (pass percentage 24.45); 647 students (465 male and 182 female) cleared four papers (pass percentage 23.86); 384 students (328 male and 56 female) cleared three papers (pass percentage 14.16); 221 students (188 male and 33 female) cleared two papers (pass percentage 8.15) and 102 students (94 male and eight female) cleared one paper (pass percentage 3.76).

Pre-Engineering:The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, on Thursday declared result of HSC-I (class-XI) Science (Pre-Engineering) group annual examination 2002 held in May.

In all 18,174 students (12,988 male and 5,186 female) were enrolled but 17,926 (12,795 male and 5,131 female) appeared in the examination.

According to the result, 7,281 students (4,693 male and 2,588 female) got through all the six papers (pass percentage 40.62); 3,047 students (2,126 male and 921 female) cleared five papers (pass percentage 17.00); 2,333 students (1,745 males and 588 female) cleared four papers (pass percentage 13.01); 2,729 students cleared three papers (pass percentage 15.22); 1,911 students (1561 male and 350 female) cleared two papers (pass percentage 10.66) and 533 students (468 male and 65 female) cleared one paper (pass percentage 2.97).—PPI
