LAHORE, May 22: Faisal Town police claim to have arrested three robbers involved in street crimes and recovered from them cash, jewllery, cell phones (worth one million rupees) and illegal weapons.

The suspects identified as Hani Shah (ring leader), Jawad and Umair had shot and wounded many citizens during their strikes. They were wanted by the Lahore police in a single murder case and several attempted murder and robbery cases.

Model Town SP Operations Malik Muhammad Awais said Hani Shah and his two accomplices were taken into custody from a Walled City locality after constant surveillance.

He said efforts were being made to arrest their two missing accomplices.

The suspects confessed to committing more than 60 street crimes, the SP added.
