ABBOTTABAD, Oct 21: Four died on the spot and two others received bullet injuries on Monday at 6am, when some unidentified men opened fire on a Jeep at the Phawar village near Sherwan. The vehicle was carrying a former Karachi DSP, Aurangzeb, and his family to Abbottabad.

The dead included Jeep driver Fakhr Khan, son of Sher Bahadar Khan, and two sons and a daughter of Aurangzeb— Faizan, Kamran and Lubna. While the ex-police officer and his wife received injuries in the incident.

The retired DSP, in the FIR, claimed to have no enmity with any one. The killers were rivals of the driver, he told police.
