Three women among five killed

LARKANA, Oct 21: Five persons, including three women, were killed in separate incidents in Larkana district.

Salma, wife of Rahmatullah Leghari, was shot by an unidentified gunmman outside the family planning centre located in Murdanwahan Mohalla.

She did not survive despite being immediately removed to the Chandka Medical College Teaching Hospital.

The police said that she was an employee of the local family planning office. The killer escaped.

In another incident, Shahzadi was killed by her husband, Hadi Bakhsh Umrani, on charges of karo-kari in the jurisdiction of Rehmatpur police station.

Meanwhile, Pathani, wife of Shahnawaz Chandio, was crushed by a tractor in Drigh Town.

Abdul Rasool alias Abid Hussain Junijo was shot by his friend, Mujeebur Rehman Hakiro, in Allah Bakhsh Hakiro village over petty dispute.

The accused has been arrested along with the weapon used in the murder.

Bashir Ahmed Solangi was run over by Bolan Mail near the Brohi railway crossing.
