Women killed

SWABI, May 5: A woman was killed when a man opened firing on her husband after exchange of hot words over money dispute in Jalsai village here on Thursday, police said.

According to police, Fuqraj, wife of on Qaimat Khan, told them before her death on hospital bed that a few months ago her husband borrowed some money from Faqir Mohammad of Chota Lahor. She said that Faqir visited their house for getting back his money, but due to financial constrains her husband could not pay the amount. On Thursday, the matter led to exchange of hot words and Mr Faqir opened fire on Qaimat Khan, but she came in the middle and was seriously injured. —Correspondent
