QUETTA, April 28: Bullet-riddled bodies of two kidnapped political activists were found dumped on the coastal highway in the Gwadar district on Thursday.

Sources said that police took the bodies to a hospital after local people informed the administration about the presence of the bodies near Ormara area.

The dead were identified as Yousuf Nazir and Siddique Edo. They were kidnapped by armed men on Dec 29, 2010.

Mr Edo was a political activist. He also worked as the local correspondent of a magazine. Mr Nazir was an active member of the Baloch Student Organisation (Azad).—Saleem Shahid
