KARACHI: Clarification

Published October 18, 2002

KARACHI, Oct 17: The Shaheen Courier Service has clarified that they did not deliver the parcels containing explosives which exploded in three different government offices on Wednesday.

Referring to press reports, the courier company made it clear that the parcels were delivered by the Pakistan Post Office’s Shaheen Service (urgent mail services) and not by the Shaheen Courier Service.

They said they have no concern with Shaheen Express nor have any contract with the Pakistan Post Office for delivery of parcels/mails.—APP
