KARACHI: Six vehicles hijacked

KARACHI, Nov 13: Six vehicles — four cars and two motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Tuesday, police said.

One car was hijacked in Nazimabad. Three others were stolen in Darakhshan, Gizri and Gulshan-i-Iqbal. The motorcycles were stolen in Eidgah.

Police also claimed on Tuesday to have recovered eight vehicles in the city.

ROBBERIES: Five robberies were committed in the city on Tuesday, police said.

Umer lodged a complaint at Gizri police station that three armed men barged into his house and looted jewellery and other valuables.

Mohammed Ilyas lodged a complaint at Saeedabad police station that unidentified bandits robbed him of cash. Mohammed Imran lodged an FIR at Aziz Bhatti police station that unidentified men deprive him of cash, jewellery and other valuables.

Bandits barged into Qasim Ali’s house in Model Colony and got away with a TV set and other valuables.
